MarkAssure^sm Service

Our law firm is a leader in the intellectual property field.  We have a unique service for checking trademark and service mark status for our clients with regard to protection of their trademarks and service marks.   The service is called our MarkAssure<sm> Service.

There are four distinct but related services:

    1.    Search Services.  You provide your intended business name or product line name, and we will search available record to provide you with insight regarding the probabilities that the mark is available for acquisition. 

    2.    Registration Services.  We file for the federal or state registration of the mark.  Often, this can be performed the same day.  If you are launching a new business, business unit or product line, it is imperative to protect your mark before you make the mark publicly known.  See 8 Common Questions About Trademarks  and Introduction to Trademark Law and Trademark Registration Process for more information.

    3.    Maintenance Services.  Once you receive a registration for a mark, it is crucially important that you maintain the mark in accordance with specific statutory deadlines.  If you miss a deadline, you can lose your registration.  Some of the deadlines can be 10 years into the future, so it is very easy for a layperson to forget the deadline.  Our firm has an extraordinary proprietary computer system that tracks deadlines as well as sends clients automated reminder emails.  See  Section 8/15 Affidavits for more information.

    4.    Watching Services.  The MarkAssure watch service can be established for pre-defined intervals.  We will automatically perform search services to assist you with determining if there are any potential infringers or anyone trying to lean on your valuable mark and reputation.  See Disclaimers for more information.  In the usual case, the cost is extremely efficient at less than $100 per interval.  However, the cost is often a function of the mark itself.  The reason is because the type and status of marks can cause addition analysis or service.  For example, as part of our services, we have reviewed marks so frequently used by others or infringed upon, that we have needed to prepare spreadsheets of infringers and create priority policing plans.
